Claire Taylor has emerged as a soprano of extraordinary prowess, captivating audiences with her “robust yet graceful voice” and “commanding stage presence”. Alongside her academic achievements, Claire also served as the Vice President of the UHart Gospel Choir, further showcasing her leadership and musical talents.

Claire is also recognized for her dedication to education and mentorship in the realm of vocal performance. As an experienced vocal teacher, she imparts her invaluable expertise to students of all ages, guiding them in establishing a solid vocal foundation rooted in the bel canto technique and pure Italian vowels. This classical foundation not only enhances their abilities but also equips them with the versatility to excel in any genre they may pursue.

Under Claire's tutelage, her students have achieved remarkable success, gaining admission to elite high school performing arts academies and earning coveted spots in audition-only traveling a cappella groups.

Claire's journey to musical excellence extends far beyond national borders, as she has garnered recognition as an international soprano. Claire's performances have graced some of the world's most iconic stages, spanning from the illustrious Carnegie Hall in New York to the picturesque landscapes of Tuscany, Italy. She has mesmerized audiences in the cultural epicenter of Paris, France, as well as in the tropical settings of Costa Rica and the enchanting shores of the Bahamas.

Taylor has been fortunate to receive guidance from esteemed vocal teachers and mentors, including Sondra Kelly and Sally Wolf, both of whom enjoyed rewarding careers at the Metropolitan Opera. Additionally, under the direction of Eli Villanueva, renowned director at the Los Angeles Opera, Taylor took on the lead role in the New Jersey debut of his opera "Friedl".

Graduated with distinction from the esteemed Hartt School with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance. Claire has also earned numerous accolades, solidifying her position as a rising star in opera. From winning First Place in the NJ All State Opera competition to receiving the NJ Governor’s Award for Opera, her achievements speak volumes about her commitment to vocal excellence.
