Sounds of Summer Music Camps at SMAA

We’re excited to offer three music camp series for Summer 2024 for children of all ages and levels, including beginners with no music or lessons experience.

 

Music Explorers: No experience/early beginners. Learn multiple instruments. Ages 6-12.

Summer Piano Camp: All piano levels with a minimum of 1 year of private lessons. Ages 6-18.

Summer Strings Camp: All violin, viola, cello & guitar levels with minimum of 1 year of private lessons: Ages 6-18.

SMAA's weekly day camps are held at our safe, spacious, and comfortable Progress Drive location near Westover Elementary School and Lione Park. All camps are available on 7 select weeks in June, July and August which are outlined in the camp links below. Camps run Monday-Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm on the designated weeks. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available as add-ons. Continuous supervision is provided.

Sounds of Summer music camps are flexible, fun, and will support whatever your family wants to achieve, including keeping your children meaningfully engaged during the workday. Our music camps offer the perfect environment for children to experiment and explore, go deeper into an existing musical journey, and to make new friends. Campers will feel at home with SMAA's deeply experienced teachers and counselors, and a well-organized daily program.

SMAA campers participate in a variety of fun and social music learning and recreational activities, all in a 6-hour summer camp-style environment. Campers learn and practice level-specific music and theory concepts, group play, games to help improve aural and rhythmic skills, singing, outdoor activities, and movie time. Children will leave SMAA camps feeling accomplished, inspired, and equipped with a deeper passion for learning, playing, and singing music.

All Sounds of Summer Music Camps also offer sequential learning, meaning if you enroll your children in multiple weeks, either consecutively or otherwise, their camp experience will advance accordingly week by week. Camps can be booked for 1 to 7 weeks. 

​

Camp tuition is $599 per week, plus a $25 registration fee for each student.

If enrolling a student for multiple weeks, the $25 registration fee is only paid once.

Convenience fees for credit/debit card and bank transfers are added automatically.

Early drop-off at 8:00am: +$70/week.

Late pick-up at 5:15pm: +$140/week.

Early drop-off and late pick-up bundle: +$180/week

• Enter an email address and password for the registration system.

• Login with your credentials and choose camp weeks and add-ons.

• When registering multiple campers, choose 'A new participant'.
