Summer Strings Camp
Summer Strings Camp at SMAA provides a welcoming environment for young string players to develop and refine instrument specific fundamentals, learn theory, and experience the joy of playing music together with others. Campers participate in masterclass-style learning, supervised practice, sectionals, ensemble playing, singing, and fun indoor and outdoor activities. Summer Strings Camp is for beginners through advanced skill levels ages 6-18, with one or more years of strings lessons. Our expert instructors will group campers with other children of similar ages and levels. All campers should have one polished/partially polished piece of music and bring any other music in progress.
